What would've been a $50-60 meal elsewhere here set us back about $110 (no drinks, no dessert either). The prices themselves were quite high compared to most places (about double what we're used to, having eaten at sushi places literally all across the country). really big on trying to gouge their patrons for the maximum money possible. The food itself was only okay, but they seem. I guess maybe it's the 'best' sushi in Sydney (maybe?), but only because of very limited competition. I went here with my family after reading all the good reviews on Tripadvisor, but unfortunately was sorely disappointed. I hate giving a business in my home area (born local, raised elsewhere) a bad review but, I have to be fair and it's for certain a 2 star. The rolls from another table looked good i have to say to be fair but again, you got to ask for what standardly comes with the meal.Д®ither they changed how they do things or those who are eating the sushi and leaving five stars just don't know what they should be getting and it's just not good. This is unheard of in any place I have been and I have been to I would guess 75 different sushi places. They have all the plates and mixing bowls on the table but have to ask and I believe I was charged for it. The fish was so finely chopped up that it was barely identifiable and really I think to hide the fact you were not getting a fair and correct portion and reduce the amount of fish you got. What I got was a seasoned rice alright so bad that I had to leave it. I had Chirashi sushi, which is seasoned rice with raw fish on top commonly referred to as Sashimi, which normally is identifiable and distinct pieces.
